FORKSful of spooktacular Halloween fun
This Halloween, raise your spirits in FORKS! With events ranging from corn mazes and pumpkin patches to trick or treating out of storefronts and car trunks, our two towns have an abundance of ghoulishly GRAND to-dos.
PATCH ON THE POINT
Situated on the south end of East Grand Forks, Patch on the Point at Paradise Stables is our community’s newest fall family fun attraction. Along with offering free horse-drawn wagon rides and $6 pony rides, this sweet spot now features one of the area’s largest pumpkin patches. Spend a day exploring all their cool to-dos: a petting zoo, adventure trail, lawn games, 100-foot super slide, tricycle/pedal GoKart track and plenty of pumpkins ripe for the picking.
Special Saturday events currently scheduled include magician John Horpedahl (September 28), Polk County 4H Horse Drill Team Performance (October 5), Just 4 Kix Halloween Dance Show (October 12), Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue Adoption Event (October 19) and “Hocus Pocus” Outdoor Big Screen Movie (October 26).
Patch on the Point is open September 21 through October 27, 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Thursdays & Fridays, 11 AM to 7 PM on Saturdays and 11 AM to 5 PM on Sundays. The entrance fee is $8 per person and free for little ones under 2 years of age. Make sure to bring along a few extra bucks, so everyone can enjoy some of the yummy food truck fare. EMPIRE ARTS CENTER SPOOKTACULAR FUN
YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN
October 5, 6 & 13 at 2 PM // October 4, 5, 10, 11 & 12 at 7:30 PM
Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein inherits his family's estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor, and a leggy lab assistant, Inga, Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. "It's alive!" he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abound.
NINE & NUMB IMPROV: NIGHT OF THE LAUGHING DEAD
October 23 at 7 PM
the Nine and Numb Improv Troupe is back with an uncommon blend of chills and chuckles! Get ready for a night of spontaneous comedy that’s so funny, it’ll raise the dead—or at least have you dying with laughter.
This event is recommended for mature audiences (18+).
THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW LIVE
October 26, 27 & 31 at 7:30 PM & Midnight
Prepare to be thrilled, chilled and fulfilled as a LIVE cast performs in front of the screen playing the 1975 cult classic film. This year's performances will happen on October 25, 26 and 31 with two shows each night! The first is at 7pm for general admission, followed by the legendary Midnight show for mature audiences. Prop bags will be available for purchase.
This event is recommended for mature audiences (18+).

ZOMBIE PUB CRAWL
October 19 // 3-11 PM // 21+
Get ready to join Grand Forks' spookiest event of the year - the new Zombie Pub Crawl! This is your chance to crawl through your favorite bars in downtown Grand Forks, sipping on creepy cocktails and spooky shots, and be part of the ultimate Halloween experience with your zombie friends! 21+ event.
Pick up your crawl card at any participating location - visit as many stops as you'd like - support these locally owned businesses by enjoying some food and drinks OR pick up some merch and gift cards along the way! Fully completed cards can be dropped off by the end of the night to be entered to win the GRAND PRIZE of $500 CASH! Grand prize winner will be drawn the following week and contacted via phone. Best Dressed Contest!
