Once again, the North Dakota Museum of Art has teamed up with Far North Spirits, a field-to-glass distillery in Hallock, MN, for the Eighth Annual Gin in Bloom (formerly Rye on the Rocks). Grand Forks' only craft cocktail contest will feature three specialty gins from Far North Spirits.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What to expect: On Thursday, April 24, a select group of bartenders from Grand Forks and Fargo will vie for bragging rights with their original cocktails or classics with a twist. Guests sample each creation and vote in two categories – Most Original and People’s Choice, the evening’s top award. A panel of judges will award Judges Choice. During the evening guests will have a chance to meet the bartenders, experience the beautiful Museum galleries, and enjoy delicious bites from local restaurants.

Sponsorships and ticket sales from Gin in Bloom support the Museum’s many programs, such as educational opportunities, music programs, exhibitions, art camps, and more.
