Hop on the scooter and start heading toward the river! The Greenway of Greater Grand Forks features 20 miles of groomed trails and 2,220 scenic acres of outdoor space for biking, walking, inline skating, golfing, fishing, wildlife observing and more. A favorite spot to access the trail system is beautiful Riverside Park and its surrounding historic homes, with the end destination being near Restaurant Row in Downtown East Grand Forks.

Breakfast break at Bernie’s

Pump the brakes and make a stop at Bernie’s. This awesome Eastside eatery is owned by famous local blogger, cookbook author and Food Network host Molly Yeh. The menu features a variety of classic Midwestern dishes sprinkled with Molly’s unique heritage and culinary creativity. All their homemade morning dishes are incredibly delicious but gotta give a special shoutout to the chorizo and tater tot stuffed Breakfast Burrito and Breakfast Sandwich starring a fresh, flaky croissant topped with bacon, egg and cheese.

Stock up Downtown

Our cool Downtown District is filled with an array of unique boutiques and stores galore. The Silo Boutique and Pretty b. offer fabulous women’s fashions, while RH Standard carries designer clothing for both guys and gals. If you’re looking for grand gifts found only in Forks, Bd Mixed Metals features a variety of jewelry, liturgical art and home décor that’s all made in-store by master metalsmith David Badman. See Dick Run is the place to go for those who literally enjoy running around town. If you’re there on Saturdays, mid-June through September, make sure to swing into Town Square for one of the region’s largest outdoor farmers markets.

Park it for a picnic

Greater Grand Forks offers plenty of awesome green spaces for both adults and kids to enjoy. Scenic Lincoln Drive Park is mere scooter minutes away from Downtown.
